Wellbeing Dashboard Venserpolder

What is the state of wellbeing of Venserpolder? Researchers from the University of Amsterdam worked with residents to measure what they consider important. According to these residents, these three topics are the most important:

The wellbeing of Venserpolder

In total, there are 16 topics which make up the Dashboard. This gives us an idea of how Venserpolder is doing.

The percentages show how many residents are already satisfied with each topic. Among other things, it shows that political participation is doing well. But economic activity is not doing as well. Satisfaction with municipal policies has the lowest score.

As a resident, you can engage with the municipality and other organisations yourself: Take these figures and discuss them. For ease of reference, we made a sheet of the three most important topics. On it you find more figures, for example by age or level of education.

From September to November 2023, there was the Venserpolder Dialogues experiment.

Residents started practising conversations about this data.

Creation

A group of residents and UvA researchers collected this data in the autum of 2022. We regularly update the dashboard to keep residents’ views and results up to date.
