The wellbeing of Venserpolder

In total, there are 16 topics, which make up the Index. This gives a picture of how Venserpolder is doing.

The percentages show how many residents are already satisfied with it. Among other things, it shows that political participation is doing well. But economic activity is not doing as well. Satisfaction with municipal policy scores the worst.

Get to work yourself

As a resident, you can engage in discussions with the municipality and other organisations yourself. Take these figures and discuss them. For ease of reference, we have made a sheet of the three most important topics. On it are more figures, for example by age or by level of education.

From September to November 2023, there was the Venserpolder Dialogues experiment. Residents got to practise having conversations about them.

Creation

This data was measured in the autumn of 2022 by a group of residents and UvA researchers. We regularly update the Index to keep local residents’ views and measurements up to date as well.
