Wellbeing Dashboard Reigersbos

What is the state of wellbeing of Reigersbos? Researchers from the University of Amsterdam will work with residents to measure what they think is important.

The Wellbeing of Reigersbos

In total, there are 15 topics which make up the Dashboard. This gives us an idea of how Reigersbos is doing.

The percentages show how many residents are already satisfied with each area. For example, it is clear that political participation is going well. However, employment in the neighbourhood is not doing as well. Satisfaction with law enforcement and public order in the neighbourhood scores the lowest.

Development of the Wellbeing Dashboard Reigersbos

Together with the Reigersbos residents’ platform, we began developing the Reigersbos Wellbeing Dashboard in 2024. During co-creation workshops, residents identified 45 local wellbeing indicators. Following this, 267 surveys were conducted with residents to measure these indicators. In early 2026, this resulted in the Reigersbos Wellbeing Dashboard – viewable above.

The Dashboard provides a general overview of what residents consider important and how they assess and experience these issues.
The plan now is to follow up with concrete actions.

However, not all 15 topics can be addressed simultaneously. That is why residents are selecting “priorities.” Which topic is most important? What should residents discuss with professionals first?
