In total, there are 16 topics which make up the Dashboard. This gives us an idea of how G-Buurt is doing.

The percentages show how many residents are already satisfied with each topic. Among other things, it shows that political participation is doing well. But economic activity is not doing as well. Satisfaction with liveability has the lowest score.

Do it yourself

As a resident, you can engage with the municipality and other organisations yourself: Take these figures and discuss them. For ease of reference, we made a sheet of the most important topics. On it you find more figures, for example by age or level of education.

Creation

The Wellbeing Dashboard G-Buurt is a collaboration between UvA researchers and resident platform G-Buurt United. From summer to autumn 2024, residents of the G-Buurt defined what wellbeing means in their neighbourhood, and determined which topics their Wellbeing Dashboard should measure. This measurement was then carried out until autumn 2025 via surveys, resulting in the G-Buurt Wellbeing Dashboard.
